Our first ever Toddler’s Author Feature here at Toddler Book Reviews is a great one. We’ve reviewed a number of Kimberley Kleczka’s books on our site and there’s always been fabulous feedback from you, our readers.
It’s best before you get into any author and his/her books to know a bit about them. I think it helps to set the stage and for you as a parent to know whether or not your vision for your toddler aligns with the author. Let me give you a little insight into Kimberley, as I’ve spoken with her quite a bit over the past few months. First off, she’s a very warm individual who cares about what she does; she treats everyone with respect and is an extremely soft-hearted and compassionate individual. I don’t think she could hurt a fly.
Probably the most important aspect to you as a parent about Kimberley is how she grew up. She was born in the UK and moved to Africa at a very young age. She’s lived in the US, New Zealand, and in many places in Europe as well. She’s lived all over the world and so she’s learned firsthand what the many cultures of the world can offer you and your child. Not only this, but Kimberley enjoys being around different cultures and learning first hand about their traditions and way of life.
What she’s done with her fun set of books is created an idea in the form of a word. That word is “Koolamundo”, which she tells us means “it’s a Kool World”. Every book of hers that I’ve read is a story that shows many different ways that people (or birds in the case of her character Alook) live in our grand world. She explains how these differences are great and gives your little one a chance to view these differences positively. She has such a clear vision as to what and why she’s creating books for children, and that’s one of the reasons we chose her for this Toddler’s Author Feature!
Now, if you’re wanting to skip the rest of this and get to her Amazon Author Page…go ahead! If you want to hear a little more, well we’ll give you her full book listing and a little more information.
Here are the latest book reviews we’ve done for Kimberley:

This is not to say that we’ve reviewed each and every one of this author’s books…because we haven’t. What’s amazing (and very in tune with Kimberley’s goal of teaching all about the world) is that she’s produced multiple language versions of each book. I love that she has done this and that she continues to add different languages to each book. If anyone would like a new language, please let her know (click here to email, head to her website here, or click the social links below). At the end of this article, I’m going to give a full book listing so if you’re looking for the Deutsche, Español, or Hindi version of Klara The Cow, then you’ll be able to find it!
What I think is probably the best part of all of Kimberley’s books is the incredible amount of extra content that is always included. You aren’t simply buying a book from Kimberley. I’d say you’re buying edutainment, as Kimberley includes videos, activities, audiobooks, and more with each one of her books. Not only is she creating a multimedia experience, but she’s also creating characters your child will know and love. As such, she will be bringing out a Klara The Cow puppet, backpack and key ring in 2017. She’s just put out a Christmas video, and is really gaining a following on social media as well. Oh, and if you like extras, I’d suggest you actually head over to the Koolamundo website itself. Kimberley has developed quite the site with free books, sing-alongs, quotes, and of course all of her (paid) books. There’s even an app that’s part of the Klara The Cow book!
Now then, enough of my ranting on. Let’s give you all of Kimberley’s books and let you get on to purchasing one. Without any further adieu:
